Saw the movie today, it was worth the wait, you guys did a great job. I was excited as I saw both my scenes made the cut (a tourist at lecture films and the homeless person towards the end w/ a 40oz.)

Plus you guys did an excellent job making my hometown (Lowell ma) really shine on the big screen. It actually looked like a nice place to live.

And yes, there is sex in the afterlife...

Thanks,
Andrew Michaud

Matthew: Jan & I just saw your movie at the Kansas City AMC near our home. We loved it and thought it was the best comedy we have ever seen. Please get my email address from your folks. Give our love to Lisa....Uncle Greg Robinson

Matthew:
It IS you, isn't it? I saw Roger Ebert's review, saw you in the credits. Looked at the videos you posted, measuring your features against the quarter-century old mugshot in my memory, adding in a face-length factor, and...no, I can't say for sure. I'll put the milk carton with your name on the side back in the fridge...

Loved the film - well done! How did you get Elvis Costello to cover the Cat Stevens song? When did Elvis make the recording?

Brilliant, brilliant film. The bride and I went to see it yesterday. Very funny and very touching.

We both doubled over with laughter during the scene with Merchant and "Barry".

I thought the shot of Mark and Anna waking up the morning after his mother passed was gorgeous and my favorite single shot of 2009 so far. Iconic.

Well done and while I will always see anything Gervais does (ok, I didn't see Museum 2), I'll now also be sure to see the next Matthew Robinson film as well.

Congratulations on a great film!
